| John A. Tiffany, M.S. |
| |
John Tiffany is an Industrial Hygienist and has worked extensively in both
the public
and private sectors on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigations. John is
president of
Tiffany-Bader Environmental, Inc, a post he has held since 1991. He was
Technical
Director for 15 IAQ courses at the MidAtlantic Environmental Hygiene
Resource
Center from 1992 to 2005. John was Chair of the American Industrial Hygiene
Association's (AIHA) Indoor Environmental Quality Committee (1993-94), and
is a
member of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air
Conditioning
Engineers). He was AIHA's liaison to ASHRAE from 1991 to 2003 and was Chair
of
ASHRAE’s Environmental Health Committee [1999-2000] and a member of the
Standard 62, “Ventilation for Acceptable IAQ” Committee [1998-2001].
John was also a National IAQ'92, IAQ’93, IAQ'94, and IAQ’98 Conference
Steering
Committee member and was a Conference Advisor for the International Indoor
Air 99 in Scotland and Healthy Buildings 2000 Conference in Helsinki. He was
co-chair of
ASHRAE’s IAQ’2001 conference on “Moisture in Buildings”. He is a founding
member
of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), and
was a
member of the ISIAQ Board of Directors [2000-2003]. His academic degrees
include
a Masters of Science Degree in Environmental /Occupational Health from
Hunter
College, and a B.S. in Chemistry.
Both John and Howard are consultants to various EPA Regional Offices (Region
II, III, & V) on the “Tools for Schools” IAQ Program. |

| Howard A. Bader, P.E., B.S. |
| |
| Howard Bader is a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer and has
20 years professional experience in environmental and mechanical/electrical
engineering. During this time, he has performed numerous environmental
and building system inspections, HVAC design, and construction management
services. The types of projects performed include high and low-rise commercial
and residential buildings, hospitals, schools and industrial facilities.
Howard is a consultant to the U.S. Public Health Services directing studies
of federal buildings with IAQ/HVAC-related complaints and is Course Director
for two IAQ courses at the MidAtlantic Environmental Hygiene Resource Center.
Howard is a member of the national and New York Metropolitan Chapter of
the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Thermal and Environmental
Engineering from Southern Illinois University. |
